Getting connected at Ecclesia is about relationships that go beneath the surface. That kind of relationship won’t come by simply attending Sunday services. Whether kids or adults, all of us need time each week with a smaller group of people who can get to know us personally, share life with us, and encourage us in our relationship with Jesus Christ.
We’re really into creating opportunities for authentic community. At Ecclesia, we believe building genuine friendships is important. This is why we encourage everyone to get connected in one of our fellowship groups.
Sunday Adult Fellowships
Ecclesia has many different adult fellowships groups that meet on Sundays or Wednesdays. Groups meet at various times: 11:45 a.m., 1:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. Groups range in size from 10 to 40 people. Each group either meets in our Ecclesia Lodge facility or at a home. Meetings regularly include a time for a meal or refreshments, fellowship, prayer, and study of the Bible. Some groups are multigenerational, while others are focused on a certain stage of life. To get connected, all you have to do is show up at the time and location of the group. Home Fellowships
Our small groups meet in people’s homes. Groups normally range from 8 to 12 people. Meeting in one’s home creates a relaxed atmosphere where people can genuinely get to know one another while studying the Bible together. Some groups are multigenerational, while others focus on a certain stage of life. Contact the church at 806-794-2662 for more information.
Children
Your heart’s desire is to see your children begin a lifelong, joyous relationship with Jesus Christ. We share that desire and make it our mission. We are the caring staff and volunteers of His Kids. We work and pray hard to create a loving, safe environment where children can come to know Christ, love Him, and serve Him.
Fifth- and Sixth-Graders
Early adolescence is a crucial time in life. Spiritual growth from ages 10 to 13 can lay the foundation for a strong, lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. Encouraging preteens during this time of growth is the mission of Preteen Ministry staff and volunteers. In our loving and safe environment, preteens will form their beliefs that may stay with them for life.
Youth
The teen years mark a key transitional stage in life. Moving from childhood to adulthood is an upheaval! But God uses times of change to bring great growth. That’s where the Student Ministries staff comes alongside parents—helping young men and women know God intimately, read His Word accurately, love others, and develop deep relationships.
College and Career
Living single in today’s world is challenging. Singles today navigate through decisions about their future career and think deeply about their future mate. Ecclesia believes this season of life is not just one to get through, but one to be embraced. This is a time to make the most of life, and to take advantage of opportunities that make a difference in the world.
Ecclesia’s College and Career ministry aims to reach this generation with a unique message that challenges and transforms. Each Sunday at 7 p.m. we meet to worship, learn, serve, and have fun.
30s-40s Group
We strive to experience encouragement through friendships and a genuine family bond. We host various activities during the month and invite all adults in their 30s or 40s to meet at a local home for pot-luck lunch and fellowship every other Sunday after service. You will find members of our group serving in many capacities at Ecclesia
50-Plus Group
Our prayer and intention is to provide an environment where authentic community and spiritual growth becomes a reality. This reality is expressed though serving and caring for each other as members of the body of Christ. We are engaged in Bible study with a heavy emphasis on application. We pray for one another, and together we worship, have social activities, and grow in Christ. We encourage participation in mid-week small groups as we are on the adventure of a life-long, joyous relationship with Jesus Christ, having our identity in Him affirmed as we love and serve others.
Women
Every woman yearns for friends who will walk with her through life’s joys and sorrows. We are ready to join you on that journey. Our Bible study, fellowship, and support groups will help you develop a deeper understanding of your relationship with Jesus Christ and you’ll learn to connect well with other women.
Men
Every day, the world bombards men with mixed messages about success, relationships, and happiness. Now, more than ever, it takes grit to act like the kind of men God has designed us to be. We are here to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with you as we grow in our understanding of God’s design for manhood.
